I couldn’t recommend Josh more highly. Great work.

Josh replaced the master and slave on my 87 Syncro. He is a super knowledgeable guy, who is passionate about VWs. His speedy turnaround was much appreciate as this van is my home as I drive cross country. Would recommend to any fellow VW owner.

I have a 1987 Westy and Josh has been super helpful in so many ways. My engine needed to get rebuilt and he did all kinds of research looking for someone to rebuild it. We ended up shipping to CA since there was no one local. The engine has been purring since then. Every time I get my oil changed, I also have something upgraded. Like high end headlights, tail lights, getting the floppy mirrors tightened up and so much more. Sometimes, Josh even has parts in stock, which makes the turn around time really quick. It is really fun every time I come in for repairs to see what he is currently working on. Thank you Josh for opening up shop in Wilmington. If you were not here, I would have to move closer to another mechanic.

Josh at Hail Vintage Auto did a great job putting new brakes on my air cooled VW bus, and sorting out the carburetor issues. Had a quick turn around and fair pricing.
